Remind Me, Dear Lord – A Testimony of Faith & Forgiveness
Greetings, my friends! How are you today? We are alive despite life's circumstances. God be praised! Bless the name of Jesus!
Remind Me, Dear Lord
"The things that I love and hold dear to my heart are just borrowed; they are not mine at all. Oh, Jesus, let me use them to brighten my life."
Hallelujah! Roll back the curtains of memory now and then, Lord. Show me where You have brought me from and where I could have been.
I am only human, and humans forget. So, remind me, dear Lord!
God’s Grace & Sacrifice
I have done nothing good to deserve God’s Son. I am not worthy of the scars in His hands. Yet, He chose the road to Calvary to die in my place. Why did He love me? I cannot understand!
Oh, roll back the curtains again, Lord! Show me Your mercy, Your grace, and the price You paid for me.
Forgiveness & Faith in God
Jesus suffered, though He did no wrong. Yet, on the cross, He cried:
"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."
He was treated unfairly, and even today, we often treat Him unfairly. But He still loves us. He looks beyond our faults and sees our needs.
I thank God for His Spirit—the Holy Ghost—who strengthens me, teaches me, and reminds me of His love. Even when I am wronged, when I am crushed, when my flesh wants to retaliate, His Spirit gives me the strength to say, "I forgive you."
Forgiveness is not easy. But with God, all things are possible.
A Personal Testimony of Grace
I remember standing in that courtroom, facing the people who took my son's life. The media was there, watching. The judge read my statement, and she said she had been observing my behavior.
I had to maintain my peace. I told my family, "No matter the verdict, we will remain calm." It was only through God's Holy Spirit that I could say, "I forgive you."
I thank God that He cushioned my heart, allowing me to walk in wisdom, not vengeance. Because vengeance belongs to the Lord.
Encouragement for Others
Wherever we go, whatever situation we face, let us behave wisely. People are always watching. Our actions should glorify God.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Jesus has done it before, and He will do it again.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Be blessed in Jesus' name! Amen.
