Greetings, greetings, my friends. How are you today?
We are alive despite the circumstances of life—God be praised. Today, I literally want to speak of God’s creation and His wonders. When you're up there, way above sea level, consider the power that keeps that airplane in the air and protects the passengers to their destinations. It’s amazing to behold God’s creation right up there.
The next time you take a journey in an airplane, try to have a look when you're walking down those aisles. You may be traveling by day or night, but take a look and think about it. In those quiet moments on that plane, reflect on this: maybe you have not heard about God or don't want to know, but take this opportunity to ponder—who could have placed the stars, the moon, and the clouds? Who gave mankind the ability to build all these airplanes and ships that are so beneficial to us?
The wonders of God never cease for me. His light shines through the darkness. Even at night, the heavens declare His glory, and the firmament shows His handiwork. Psalm 19:3 says, "There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard." There is no nation or culture untouched by God’s wonders.
In some places, where there is no electricity and people have to travel through deep woods, the stars and moonlight guide them as a light in the darkness. The moon can illuminate their path and make their way clear.
During my own experience, I stayed awake on a plane traveling over Africa, marveling at the beauty below. My friends, let us not take these things for granted. Some people today are in dire situations and cannot appreciate the little things because they are disadvantaged. Some nations suffer from famine and poverty. Children face destitution because of mankind's mistakes and the lack of love for one another. We were designed to be a family, yet the darkness of sin has contaminated the Earth, and creation groans.
May we, today, take advantage of the little privileges we have. Let us appreciate what we have achieved and be content. Strive to be a light shining through the darkness because, one day, all the troubles and worries of life will pass away.
Let us appreciate God-given wonders in whatever form they come—trees, stars, rain, and even the cold weather. Give thanks, wrap up warmly when it's cold, and think positively.
Remember Psalm 19:1: "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork." You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Be blessed.
