Greetings, greetings my friends! How are you today? We are alive despite the circumstances of life. God be praised!
But today I'm literally want to speak of God's creation and its wonders when you're up but are way above sea level and the power that keeps that airplane and protect the passengers to their destinations and to behold God's creation right up there, right up there.
So the next time you take your journey in an airplane, try to have a look when you're walking down those aisles. Take a look. You may be traveling day or night - have a look and think about it when you have those quiet times to yourself on that plane. Think about it.
Maybe you have not heard about God, maybe you don't want to know, but take this opportunity. Said who could have put the stars into place? Who could have put the moon into place? The clouds into place? Who could have done that? Who gave man the ability to build all these airplanes, ships - all these things that are beneficial to us?
The wonders of God for me never cease, even as his light shine through the darkness. Even at night, the heavens declare his glory and the firmament show his handiwork. Day after day utter its speech. Night onto night shows knowledge.
And verse three of Psalm 19 says there's no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. There's not a nation, there's no culture, there's no language that the wonders of God has not reached.
In the midnight, in some areas you can see the stars come out so beautifully and the moon so beautiful. Sometimes people who may not be privileged to have electricity on the roads and they have to go in the deep woods, they would have the stars. And sometimes when the moon comes out bright, it shows them the way, guides them as light through the darkness.
May the road that is dark - that light from the heavens through the moon can show them the path, make the path clear, because the moon will give them light.
From that experience, I was able not to sleep but to really take in all of that. And when the plane was traveling over Africa - my goodness, my Lord - what a beauty to behold! What a beauty to behold!
My friends, let us not take things for granted. Some people today are in dire situations that they cannot even appreciate the little things around them because they are at a disadvantaged state of their lives. Some nations are plagued by different circumstances. Some nations are experiencing famine. There are children who are experiencing destitution because of mankind's errors, lack of understanding that we were created to love one another. We were designed to be a family.
But the darkness that came and contaminated Earth - the darkness of sin contaminated Earth. And so the whole creation is groaning.
So may you and I today take advantage of the little privilege that we have got. Let us appreciate what we are able to achieve, what we are able to see, what we are blessed with. Whatever we are blessed with, let us be content. Let us strive to be a light shining through this darkness because we know that one day all of this - all of this - the troubles and the worries of life that caused so much darkness on this Earth, let us try to appreciate the God-given wonders of nature in whatever form we are able to.
Let us give thanks for the trees, the stars, the rain, even the cold weather. Let us give thanks. Let us wrap up warm when it gets too cold. Let us think on something that's positive.
And I say to you one more time, as I read again verse one of Psalm 19: "The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth his handwork."
Remember, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Be blessed.
