Host 1 (Jennifer):
We are here on the land of the living! Welcome back, Veronica!

Host 2 (Veronica):
Thank you for having me! I had a bit of a break due to family circumstances, but I'm back—re-energized and ready to talk.

Jennifer:
Wonderful! Isn’t God good?

Veronica:
Yes, indeed! It ties in perfectly with what I’d like us to discuss today: faith. I've been on prayer lines and interacting with others, and the word "faith" keeps coming up. I realize that faith and hope walk hand in hand.

Jennifer:
Absolutely! And we’re so grateful you’re here and that your mom is doing well.

Veronica:
Yes, very well! Thank you for your prayers. I felt them. I was hoping the prayers were more for me due to what I was dealing with, but we’re all in this together!

Jennifer:
Exactly! I’m going to read a verse that came to me earlier about faith. It’s from Hebrews 11:1, and it says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (KJV)

Veronica:
My understanding of faith is that it’s a substance you’re hoping for, even if you can’t see it. Just like a student hoping to get good grades—faith is what drives them to study.

Jennifer:
Right! You have to put in the work. You can’t just say, “I have faith this will happen” without action.

Veronica:
Exactly! A student has to have faith in themselves to excel, and there’s a deeper meaning—many come from overseas to support their families. They hope to build a better life.

Jennifer:
And as adults, we need to activate that faith, showing our children how we live it out. For instance, if someone is seeking a new job, they might go into the interview room with hope and faith, praying for favor.

Veronica:
Yes! Even when things seem impossible, we have to hold on to faith. It allows us to step out. If you don’t have faith, you won’t take action.

Jennifer:
It’s that inner voice—sometimes I believe it’s God’s voice guiding us. You feel drawn to do something, and suddenly the right person appears in your life.

Veronica:
Amen! We don’t always need to read the Bible to feel its truths; they’re ingrained in us.

Jennifer:
Exactly! And I think of all the people in our lives—we see their potential, but sometimes they struggle to see it themselves.

Veronica:
Right. Our positive energy can uplift them, even if they don’t recognize it right away. We’re all here for a purpose, and we should embrace positivity and light.

Jennifer:
I love that! It reminds me of a conversation I had with my husband about life’s journey. Sometimes, we have to wait for things to happen, just like waiting for a bus.

Veronica:
Yes! No matter how long it takes, we have to be patient. God has reasons for making us wait, and sometimes it’s to prepare us for what we’re asking for.

Jennifer:
Exactly! We need to appreciate what we’re given and grow through the waiting process.

Veronica:
And in that journey, we should stay hopeful and continue to pray.

Jennifer:
So true! People often rush for instant gratification, but life is more than just material things.

Veronica:
Yes! Some would give anything for peace of mind—that’s true wealth.

Jennifer:
It is! We might create a glamorous facade, but what truly matters is inner peace.

Veronica:
Absolutely! We need to be real with ourselves and take a pause. Just breathe—inhaling and exhaling.

Jennifer:
Yes! We often forget to breathe deeply when we’re busy.

Veronica:
Right! My dad used to say that death comes like a thief in the night. We never know how long we have.

Jennifer:
So let’s take time to pause, reflect, and breathe deeply.

Veronica:
Amen! I feel better just talking about this. Breathing is so important!

Jennifer:
It really is. Let’s remind our listeners to embrace faith, patience, and the power of a deep breath.

Veronica:
Absolutely! Until next time, let’s continue to support each other on this journey.

Jennifer:
Yes! Thank you for joining us today.
