The Trumpet Sounds - Hope to Victory
Be ready to Serve- Do Good
In today’s episode, we dive deep into the importance of compassion and the role each of us plays in supporting those in need. Reflecting on the message of Matthew 25:35-40, we’re reminded that even small acts of kindness—whether it’s giving a meal, sharing a smile, or simply being present—can have a profound impact.
Through personal stories and reflections, we explore what it means to serve others and why being open-hearted matters, especially during challenging times. How can we be a source of strength for those around us? How do we cultivate empathy and give selflessly?
Join us as we talk about the lasting impact of kindness, the value of selfless service, and why reaching out matters to both the giver and receiver. Let’s take this journey together to make the world a little warmer, a little more compassionate, and a little more connected.
Tune in, be encouraged, and let’s make a difference—one small act of kindness at a time.

Greetings, greetings, my friends. Today is a brand-new day. We are alive despite life's circumstances, and that's something to be grateful for. I don't know exactly how you're feeling, but I want to take this moment to encourage each of us—especially those who may be going through grief or loss.
I have friends who have recently lost loved ones, and it truly breaks my heart. Losing someone dear is a profound pain, and I empathize deeply. To those who are in mourning, I encourage you to take courage, take heart, and trust in the Almighty God. He is our strength, and He will help us move forward, one moment at a time. He is the Comforter who never leaves us nor forsakes us, even when we feel alone.
This reminds me of a scripture I’d like to share from Matthew 25:35-40:
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me."
Then the righteous will answer, saying, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?" And the King will reply, "Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these, my brothers, you did it to me."
I recently had an experience that brought this scripture to life for me. After a church service, a young man approached us, asking for help. He needed a place to stay, and his situation was dire, yet he wasn’t asking for money—just assistance. At first, we hesitated, uncertain if his story was true. But it was evening, the weather was harsh, and he had nowhere to go. After a moment, we decided to put aside our doubts and help him, pulling together resources to ensure he had a place to sleep.
Sometimes, when people are in need, our first reaction might be to judge or hesitate. But we remembered that this man came seeking help, and he was genuinely in need. God often places people in our path for us to help, even if they’re strangers. We can never know the impact our small actions may have.
There are many people around us who are struggling—some might be sick, lonely, or even in prison. They might not be part of our immediate circle, but they are just as deserving of love and compassion. God calls us to reach out and help those in need.
Growing up, my parents instilled this in me. Although we were a large family with little to spare, my parents were always helping others. I remember my mother bringing home a child who had nowhere else to go. She made room for him among us, even though our family was already big. This lesson stuck with me—that kindness and compassion have a lasting impact on others, and that’s the legacy we should aspire to leave.
Friends, life is unpredictable. We see today, but we don’t know what tomorrow brings. Let us plant good seeds by helping others, even if it means making a sacrifice. A small act of kindness—feeding someone, giving a stranger a place to stay, or even sharing a smile—can make a huge difference. Let’s be mindful and intentional in reaching out to others, remembering that when we do, we are doing it for God Himself.
So, I encourage you, my friends: remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Reach out, be kind, and make a difference. Let us sow good seeds that will bear beautiful fruit in the lives of others and our own.
Be blessed.
